Ready to clean house? Let’s get started!
How do I know if a contact is bad?
A bad contact can be characterized by outdated or incorrect information, such as an old phone number or email address that no longer works. To spot these, periodically check for returned emails or undeliverable messages, and note any phone calls that don't go through.
Here’s an example of what that looks like in Hubspot:
To remove these contacts:
1. Navigate to the bad contact and open their record in Hubspot
2. In the center panel, locate the “Overview” tab at the top of the screen.
3. In the “Overview” tab, you will see a section called “Delete Contact from Hubspot”
4. Click the small green arrow under “Delete Contact” and select “Yes”
5. That’s it! This may take a few moments, but the contact will be removed from your address book and your data will be a bit cleaner!
